As we are in the middle of a pandemic with the current COVID-19 virus still spreading nationwide, we may or may not be aware of the certain impacts it has. Certainly, we can imagine that the healthcare system will be drastically improved in addition to public health/sanitation nationwide. But what about the more short term losses like, Missing a graduation? A rescinded notice from your first entry level job? Not being able to connect with friends new or old? All of these hardships will be measured and noted, and I think it would be a great way to combine this information into a documentary. Most of us have not experienced anything like this in our lifetimes, and we can learn from a documentary how this virus may have impacted others even outside of our age bracket. Economists and those alike will be able to see the impacts that this virus has had on our spending and consumption, but you may be wondering about the more social impacts. Now that varies by communities and living styles. For those that are fortunate to have mobile devices with connection to stay in contact with their friends are the lucky ones. However, those that have been isolated with family or have had limited spending money due to job losses will be the most impacted. Psychologists and Sociologists will be able to better analyze these positive or negative outcomes in a better perspective. However, I hope they use that information to create a documentary that is not one-sided, but a in-depth look at the impacts for all families no matter race, socio-economic class, or other factors.
