With spring break only a few days away, here are my top picks for shows that will keep you entertained up until that TGIF moment!

'The Circle'

First up, we have Netflix's hit reality TV show called "The Circle." This show involves contestants competing to become the most popular player out of the bunch. The twist here is that the players are communicating with each other via a computer system called "The Circle," and there are no face-to-face interactions. Since this is the case, contestants have the opportunity to lie and cheat their way to the top. Catfishes on the show provide shocking moments that will keep you wanting more, while the other contestants will wow you with their authenticity.

I connected with the contestants with every episode I watched. This allowed me to be engaged all the way up until the finale. I highly recommend this show if you are into learning how social media affects the way people interact with one another.

'American Vandal'

Next, we have "American Vandal." I have to be honest, this show was actually one that I stumbled across by accident as I was looking for something else. That being said, I am very glad that I did find it.

"American Vandal" Season 1 follows a high schooler named Dylan who gets accused of a ridiculous act of vandalism on campus. The vandalism becomes a schoolwide scandal as Dylan tries to prove that it was not him who committed the act. Two students try to discover the actual class clown by questioning everyone around them, all while filming a documentary about it.

What I liked about this show was that it took a very foolish situation, and made it seem like it was the worst thing on earth that could have happened. The premise of the show was so humorous and had me laughing throughout each and every scene. The show's parody on the documentary format was orchestrated beautifully. I truly felt like I had a part in solving the mystery, and I could not stop watching until the end.

'The Good Place'

Where do I even begin with this one... there's just so many things I could say about this show that it's hard to start. Let's just say that "The Good Place" will have you thinking you know what's going to happen next, but will instead leave you even more perplexed and intrigued. It is the most unpredictable show I have ever watched, but that is what makes it so good. I won't say much on this show because I do not want to spoil anything, but if you like sci-fi, out-of-this-world experiences, and fro-yo... then "The Good Place" will certainly not disappoint.

'YOU'

Last but not least, we have "You." If you have not heard about this show, you are probably living under a rock. This show has been featured on Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok... you name it! The amount of memes that have been created because of this show should just be a sign in and of itself that you should go watch it.

"You" Season 1 follows along a bookstore manager named Joe, who pursues a love interest named Beck. "Pursue" may actually be the wrong term here as we start to see that Joe is actually a psycho stalker. His obsession over Beck causes him to go to extreme lengths. Told from Joe's first person perspective, this show leaves us gasping as we dive deep into his crazy mind.

Though a bit creepy at first, "You" creates a protagonist who serves as an anti-hero. Joe is one interesting individual who did not fail to keep me thinking. I wanted to hate him, but his character is one that is complex and makes you want to keep watching. I finished this show in a record two days and am confident that you will do so too.

Binge away!
