I Am A Killer- Worth the Watch?

I am a true crime addict. When Netflix came out with the documentary series "I Am a Killer" I was intrigued to say the least. Crime documentaries walk a fine line. The events can either be told in a watered down version that doesn't terrify the viewer, or they can be told in a way that is too gruesome horrifying to watch. My preferred true crime accounts fall somewhere in between the two extremes. I want to understand what the killer was thinking but not fully get into the killers mind. Anyone who watches or listens to true crime knows what I mean by that.

There are ten episodes in this Netflix original series which profile different prisoners as they recount the events that led up to them being behind bars or even on death row.

While some episodes will definitely freak you out, I think it is overall worth the watch if you're a true crime junkie. The stories give unique points of view of horrible crimes that are truly captivating. The documentary doesn't dive in too deep to make you scared to step outside.
