Top Movies to watch this Spring Break

Picture this. Your trip was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. You’re at home looking for movies to watch either with your friends or family. I can easily give you two recommendations that will be movies where you will not want to leave the screen. The Waterboy and Miracle are classics that have received great following from sports fans nationwide.

The Waterboy, follows the story of Bobby Bouche, a waterboy and football player for the Mud Dogs. He follows his passion for the game as a Linebacker and becomes an absolute crowd favorite. This movie is all about rooting for the underdog as nobody believed in Bobby until he put on his cleats and made his way out to the field.

Miracle is a nice underdog story as well as nobody believed that Team USA could win the 1980 Olympics. The soviets were the favorites for this Olympics and were a dominating hockey team. The USA team was composed of the best college hockey players nationwide from Minnesota to Boston University. However, it is very clear that team chemistry is an issue and not many of the players get along with each other. In the end this team finds its groove and does the unthinkable, beat the Soviets in the championship game.

Both of these movies are iconic to watch and will leave you with moments you don’t want to leave the screen to moments where you will be laughing forever. I would strongly recommend these movies because they will keep you entertained and occupied when you can’t go on your trip due to the Coronavirus.
